Whether your baby is celebrating their first birthday or just beginning to sit up on their own, I’m here to capture these joyful milestones. One of my favorite times to photograph babies is during “sitter” sessions—typically between 6–8 months—when they’re full of personality and sweet expressions.
When you book with me, your baby is in loving, experienced hands. These sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and usually last about an hour. If your little one needs time to warm up, we follow their pace.
For cake smash sessions, I’ll provide all the décor to create a beautiful, styled setup. I simply ask that you bring your own cake due to allergy precautions.

As a mom of three, I know how quickly these sweet stages pass. Whether your baby is sitting up, standing, taking first steps, or celebrating their first birthday, this season is full of magic—and it deserves to be remembered.
Each session begins with a simple questionnaire so I can tailor everything to your preferences—from colors to props to styling. Once you share your vision, I handle the rest to make the process completely stress-free.
You’ll have full access to my collection of props, outfits, headbands, and accessories. I’ll take care of the décor based on your chosen theme or color scheme. All I ask is that you bring the cake (just in case of allergies), and I’ll take care of the rest.

1. Say Hello
Let’s get your session officially on the calendar!
Once you’re ready to book, I’ll send over a quick contract and session retainer. As soon as those are completed, your date is secured and we’re all set to begin planning the fun.
The process is simple, stress-free, and designed with busy parents in mind.
2. Schedule it
Before your session, we’ll chat about any themes you love for your cake smash. If you’ve booked a sitter session, we’ll go over color palettes, outfits, and any styling preferences that reflect your baby’s personality.
While I do ask that you provide the cake (due to allergy precautions), I’ll take care of everything else—from decorations and balloons to setup and styling—customized to your chosen theme.

3. Planning it
It’s session day! I’m so excited to photograph your sweet baby and capture this special milestone.
Unlike newborn sessions, I may need a bit of your help during this one. I’ll have you stay nearby so your little one feels safe and comfortable throughout. Sometimes a familiar face is all they need to relax and shine.
Sessions typically last about an hour. Some babies—especially around the one-year mark—take a little extra time to warm up, and that’s perfectly normal. We go at your baby’s pace, keeping the environment calm and encouraging so they feel happy and at ease.
4. Your Session
Within 1–2 weeks, you’ll receive a private link to view your beautifully edited gallery. This is such a special moment—don’t be surprised if it brings a few happy tears!
After you’ve had time to enjoy your images, you’ll choose your favorite collection, digital files, or a la carte artwork. And if you’re not sure where to start, I’m here to help you through every option.
Together, we’ll make sure your favorite memories are preserved in a way that feels meaningful to you.

My goal is to offer a boutique photography experience that feels personal, relaxed, and beautifully curated. You’ll also have access to a thoughtfully selected range of heirloom products to showcase your portraits with intention and style.

I found Candice on Yelp. I was impressed with her artwork and reached out to her with a last minute booking, as my daughter was already two weeks old and it was the holiday season. Like many parents, I made the assumption of thinking I can do the newborn photos myself. I was so wrong - and I'm a professional photographer myself. It takes a true master of their craft to create newborn photos and Candice is that person. She made the experience convenient from beginning to end. She provides a questionnaire to better gauge her clients expectations and vision for the photo shoot and practically takes the driver seat during the photoshoot with and without the camera. As first time parents, it was nice to sit back and let Candice do what she does best. Post production (editing) was fast and the photos were amazing and high quality resolution. My wife and I were extremely satisfied (we cried) with the photos and customer service. Professional photography is a luxury. It's expected to spend money. Candice is worth it.

We did our new born photos with Candice. I am so so impressed with her studio and the way she handled my baby. She made sure the environment was perfect for a newborn. It was so relaxing and comforting, my baby loved it. She was so great with my baby as well, she changed him into outfits so quickly, and let me take my time feeding him.
