I typically photograph expecting mamas between 30–36 weeks. I always say—the bigger the belly, the better! This is your moment to celebrate the strength, beauty, and miracle of your changing body.
As your maternity photographer, my goal is to make you feel radiant, confident, and completely at ease. You’ll have access to a curated selection of beautiful maternity gowns, and we can arrange hair and makeup styling to make the experience even more special.
These portraits are more than just images—they’re a timeless gift you’ll one day share with your child, showing them the love that existed even before they arrived.

From there, we’ll talk through what you’re hoping to capture, potential locations, and your personal style. Together, we’ll choose the perfect date—typically between 30–36 weeks—and get everything rolling. The fun is just beginning!
1. Say Hello
Once we’ve chatted and selected your ideal session date—typically between 30–36 weeks pregnant—I’ll send over a simple contract and session fee invoice.
Once everything is completed, your date will be officially reserved on my calendar, and your experience will be underway!
2. Schedule it
Now it’s time to plan your session—and I couldn’t be more excited to bring your vision to life!
We’ll chat about your ideal location—whether that’s the beach, a scenic park, or in my studio—and I’ll help you select the perfect setting that matches your style and story.
You’ll also get full access to my client closet, filled with a beautiful selection of bump-friendly dresses. I have images of each one, and you’re always welcome to come into the studio to try them on and see what feels most like you.
3. Planning it
It’s session day—so exciting!
There’s no need to stress—I’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure you feel confident, relaxed, and absolutely beautiful. My goal is to help you feel like the radiant, glowing mama you are.
I’ll guide you through every pose, where to place your hands, and how to move naturally in front of the camera. If you have any special requests or ideas, I’m happy to accommodate them. This is your moment, and we’ll make it unforgettable.
4. Your Session
Within 1–2 weeks, you’ll receive a private link to view your beautifully edited gallery. This is the moment when everything comes to life—and yes, happy tears are totally normal.
Once you’ve had a chance to soak it all in, you’ll select your favorite images and decide whether you’d like a collection, digitals, or heirloom artwork.
If you’re unsure what to choose, I’m here to help guide you through the options. This final step is all about preserving what matters most—your memories, beautifully captured.
5. Your Photographs

All expecting mamas have full access to my curated client closet, featuring a beautiful selection of bump-friendly gowns. You’ll feel confident, radiant, and styled—without the pressure of purchasing something new just for your session.
Sessions are approximately one hour long and include up to two outfit changes (sometimes more, depending on time). I’ll guide you every step of the way to ensure a relaxed, empowering experience.
The Investment Details
I found Candice on Yelp. I was impressed with her artwork and reached out to her with a last minute booking, as my daughter was already two weeks old and it was the holiday season. Like many parents, I made the assumption of thinking I can do the newborn photos myself. I was so wrong - and I'm a professional photographer myself. It takes a true master of their craft to create newborn photos and Candice is that person. She made the experience convenient from beginning to end. She provides a questionnaire to better gauge her clients expectations and vision for the photo shoot and practically takes the driver seat during the photoshoot with and without the camera. As first time parents, it was nice to sit back and let Candice do what she does best. Post production (editing) was fast and the photos were amazing and high quality resolution. My wife and I were extremely satisfied (we cried) with the photos and customer service. Professional photography is a luxury. It's expected to spend money. Candice is worth it.

We did our new born photos with Candice. I am so so impressed with her studio and the way she handled my baby. She made sure the environment was perfect for a newborn. It was so relaxing and comforting, my baby loved it. She was so great with my baby as well, she changed him into outfits so quickly, and let me take my time feeding him. I will 100% be back for our 1 year old pictures. Candice is absolutely amazing and the pictures are beyond anything I imagined! Thank you so much!!
