The Family Experience
Your family is constantly changing and growing. Whether you added a new baby into the family or your kids got a little taller this year, each season is important to document and remember.
During your session, I help guide you to pose, but I also love to capture candid photos of your family being goofy with each other, jumping off rocks, running around, etc. I want those genuine interactions, those little kisses on the cheeks, the eskimo kisses, snuggles, and laughter. You are in good hands with me and I will create photographs for you to remember this moment in time for years to come.

I will give you all the information you need from booking to how it all works. I am here to help you decide on your clothes and so much more.
1. Say Hello
Yay! You want to book your family session with me! We will figure out a date and time. Sunset sessions usually take place an hour before sunset.
I will send over the contract and retainer fee. Once that is filled out and paid for, your session will be booked!
2. Schedule it
Once your session is booked, we can decide on a location. I have a couple different locations for you to choose from such as a couple different parks and different beaches.
You are welcome to always message me about styling choices and I can give you my advice. I am here for you from the beginning until well after the end!
3. Planning it

For family sessions, they are typically scheduled an hour before sunset for that beautiful golden hour light.
Yes, I will get the smiling, everyone looking at the camera shots, but I also will work on getting candids and genuine interactions with you and your family. I will instruct you how to pose and help you with those candid interactions as well.
4. Your Session
Yay!! Within 1-2 weeks, you will receive a link to view your edited images. After you've viewed your images and wiped away your happy tears, you will choose your collection, digitals, or a la carte items.

I found Candice on Yelp. I was impressed with her artwork and reached out to her with a last minute booking, as my daughter was already two weeks old and it was the holiday season. Like many parents, I made the assumption of thinking I can do the newborn photos myself. I was so wrong - and I'm a professional photographer myself. It takes a true master of their craft to create newborn photos and Candice is that person. She made the experience convenient from beginning to end. She provides a questionnaire to better gauge her clients expectations and vision for the photo shoot and practically takes the driver seat during the photoshoot with and without the camera. As first time parents, it was nice to sit back and let Candice do what she does best. Post production (editing) was fast and the photos were amazing and high quality resolution. My wife and I were extremely satisfied (we cried) with the photos and customer service. Professional photography is a luxury. It's expected to spend money. Candice is worth it.

We did our new born photos with Candice. I am so so impressed with her studio and the way she handled my baby. She made sure the environment was perfect for a newborn. It was so relaxing and comforting, my baby loved it. She was so great with my baby as well, she changed him into outfits so quickly, and let me take my time feeding him. I will 100% be back for our 1 year old pictures. Candice is absolutely amazing and the pictures are beyond anything I imagined! Thank you so much!!
