During your session, I’ll gently guide you into poses, but I also love capturing the candid, in-between moments: giggles, snuggles, goofy faces, little kisses on the cheeks, and joyful chaos. These genuine interactions are what make your story unforgettable.

I’ll walk you through everything you need to know, from booking to styling. Whether it’s choosing outfits or planning around little ones’ energy, I’m here to make it simple, relaxed, and fun from the very beginning.
1. Say Hello
Once you’re ready to book, we’ll choose the perfect date and time for your session. Most family sessions are scheduled about an hour before sunset to capture that beautiful golden light.
I’ll then send over a contract and retainer invoice. Once everything is completed, your session will be officially reserved on my calendar—and the planning fun begins!
2. Schedule it
Once your session is booked, we’ll choose the perfect location. I have a curated list of parks and beaches for you to pick from—each one chosen for its light, scenery, and family-friendly feel.
You’re always welcome to reach out with styling questions—I’m happy to help you coordinate outfits or offer suggestions that photograph beautifully. I’m here to support you every step of the way, from planning to gallery delivery (and beyond).
3. Planning it
Your session day is here—get ready to have fun and make memories!
Family sessions are typically scheduled about an hour before sunset to take advantage of that warm, golden-hour glow. It’s the perfect light to make your images feel magical and timeless.
I’ll guide you through both posed and candid moments—yes, we’ll get the smiling-at-the-camera shots, but I’ll also capture the real connection: laughs, snuggles, and those beautifully unscripted in-between moments. I’ll gently direct you so everything feels natural, relaxed, and enjoyable.
4. Your Session
Within 1–2 weeks of your session, you’ll receive a private link to view your beautifully edited images. This is often a moment filled with joy—and maybe even a few happy tears.
Once you’ve had a chance to soak them in, you’ll choose your favorites and decide on a collection, digital files, or a la carte artwork. If you’re unsure where to start, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Together, we’ll make sure your memories are preserved in a way that feels meaningful and lasting.
5. Your Photographs

Within 1–2 weeks of your session, you’ll receive a private link to view your fully edited images. This reveal is always such a special moment—often filled with smiles, laughter, and a few happy tears.
Once you’ve had time to enjoy your gallery, you’ll choose your favorite images and select from a collection, digital set, or a la carte artwork. Not sure where to begin? I’m here to help guide you through every option with care and clarity.

I found Candice on Yelp. I was impressed with her artwork and reached out to her with a last minute booking, as my daughter was already two weeks old and it was the holiday season. Like many parents, I made the assumption of thinking I can do the newborn photos myself. I was so wrong - and I'm a professional photographer myself. It takes a true master of their craft to create newborn photos and Candice is that person. She made the experience convenient from beginning to end. She provides a questionnaire to better gauge her clients expectations and vision for the photo shoot and practically takes the driver seat during the photoshoot with and without the camera. As first time parents, it was nice to sit back and let Candice do what she does best. Post production (editing) was fast and the photos were amazing and high quality resolution. My wife and I were extremely satisfied (we cried) with the photos and customer service. Professional photography is a luxury. It's expected to spend money. Candice is worth it.

We did our new born photos with Candice. I am so so impressed with her studio and the way she handled my baby. She made sure the environment was perfect for a newborn. It was so relaxing and comforting, my baby loved it. She was so great with my baby as well, she changed him into outfits so quickly, and let me take my time feeding him. I will 100% be back for our 1 year old pictures. Candice is absolutely amazing and the pictures are beyond anything I imagined! Thank you so much!!
