Most of the time, we want baby to be sleeping for their newborn photos, however we can’t control if they wake up and open their eyes. I absolutely love when they open their eyes and I can capture them with their eyes open. After I get a few open eye shots, I typically try to get them back to sleep because they usually don’t pose well awake and startle themselves or try to move a lot. Shasha was a different case though, she would be sleeping and then open those beautiful eyes for a split second, just enough time for me to snap a picture, and go back to sleep. Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous??
